Cawston - June 18

(Thursday 21 June 2007) by Karin
Back to aphid cutting this morning. Didn't hear the tea break shout so worked until lunch time. Don't know how it happened but found myself covered in ants at some point. Glad I was alone in the orchard as I had to practically fully undress to get rid of them. Wasn't sure I preferred the mosquitos to the ants at that point. They at least do not crawl all over you. Another quiet afternoon. David and Matt hitchhiked to Keremeos but as I am leaving tomorrow I decided I would just stay home. Went to see Lauren to tell her I wanted to leave and helped her with the horse feeding. Had some dinner and started organizing my belongings. Again, I was amazed at how fast they spread.
